Responsibilities
- 24/7 Monitoring: Oversee system performance, network traffic, and server health to ensure minimal downtime.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and resolve technical incidents using ITIL best practices and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify hardware and software anomalies across various platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, outages, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SysAdmins and DevOps teams to implement system upgrades and patches.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or network operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting status updates.
- Availability: Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
